OPPO is planning to launch its next-generation flagship smartphones — the OPPO Find X9 Ultra and OPPO Find X9s — in India on May 21. Ahead of the official launch, fresh leaks have now revealed the expected pricing details of both premium devices.
OPPO has already started teasing the upcoming smartphones online, building excitement ahead of the launch event. According to the latest leaks, the OPPO Find X9s could debut in India with a starting price of around Rs 79,999. Meanwhile, the top-end OPPO Find X9 Ultra is expected to carry a premium price tag of Rs 1,79,999.
The leaked pricing is reportedly for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Find X9s, while the higher-end 12GB RAM + 512GB model could be priced at around Rs 89,999. Both smartphones are expected to be available via Amazon, Flipkart, and OPPO’s official online store shortly after launch.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra: Expected specifications and features
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is expected to feature a massive 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution and up to a 144Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals and enhanced gaming performance.
Photography is likely to be one of the biggest highlights of the smartphone. The device is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 200-megapixel primary sensor, another 200-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera capable of delivering up to 10x optical zoom with a 230mm equivalent focal length.
Leaks also suggest that the smartphone may feature a Quintuple Prism periscope design that reflects light five times inside a compact module for improved zoom performance. Additional camera features may include Sensor Shift stabilisation and OIS support for better image quality and stability.
Under the hood, the flagship smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with a massive 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery. The device could support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Other expected features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.
OPPO Find X9s: Expected specifications and features
The OPPO Find X9s is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. The display may also come protected with Gorilla Glass 7i.
For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone is tipped to feature a triple 50-megapixel Hasselblad-tuned rear camera system powered by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine. The device is also expected to support 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video recording across all rear cameras, making it a strong camera-focused smartphone option.
The Find X9s could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset built on a 3nm architecture. OPPO is also rumoured to include a large 32,052.5mm vapour chamber cooling system for improved thermal management during gaming and heavy usage.
The smartphone is expected to pack a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery and ship with Android-based ColorOS 16 out of the box, all within a slim 7.99mm chassis.
