Most Discord users have been there before. Someone gifts you Nitro, you spend a little time customizing emojis and profiles, and a few months later the subscription quietly expires. For a long time, Nitro felt more like a “nice-to-have” upgrade than something genuinely useful. That perception may finally be changing. Discord has introduced Nitro Rewards, a new perks program that adds real-world gaming benefits to the subscription at no extra cost.
The headline addition is Xbox Game Pass access, giving users a rotating library of more than 50 games across PC and console. Alongside that, subscribers also get discounts on gaming gear, including 30% off Logitech G products, 15% off SteelSeries accessories, and 20% off KontrolFreek items. Players completing Quests and collecting Orbs will also receive an extra 250 Orbs every month.
For the 1st time, Nitro is coming out to be more than just as a Discord add-on. Subscribers can now jump into titles like Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, Deep Rock Galactic, Grounded, and Overcooked 2, along with 10 hours of cloud gaming access. It’s not the full Game Pass Ultimate experience, but considering it’s bundled into a subscription many users already pay for, it adds genuine value. The hardware discounts are another smart addition.
Instead of offering random deals, Discord has partnered with brands that are already popular among gamers.
